Boeing Delivered 17 Dreamliners in March

Boeing ended up first quarter by delivering 36 Dreamliners with a split of 29 787-9 and 7 787-10. Though a low delivery rate in first two months, Boeing catches up the pace by delivering 17 Dreamliners in the month of March.The most notable delivery includes first 787-9 for Egypt Air which it has leased it from AerCap. It has another 5 dreamliner on order from AerCap order book and all slated for delivery this year.Another notable delivery is for ANA as the Airline became 4th operator of 787-10 after receiving its first one in March. This also made ANA the airline to operate all the types of Dreamliner family after United.It has two more 787-10 on its order book.

China Eastern has received three 787-9 dreamliner of which one for Shanghai airlines and two for itself.Korean air has received its last 787-9 thus by completing its order for 10 dreamliners. United airlines took two 787-10 dreamliners.

Lufthansa Ordered 20 787-9 Dreamliners

Finally the German flag carrier Lufthansa joining the Dreamliner family by ordering 20 dreamliners primarily replacing its aged four engine jets.These dreamliners will start arriving between late 2022 and 2027.So far there is no clarity whether these planes will be operated by Lufthansa or its subsidiaries as the dreamliner rendering of Austrian and Swiss also featuring in the picture of Lufthansa's order announcement.
