Boeing Delivered 9 DreamLiners in July

     Boeing & Co delivered Nine 787 dreamliners in the month of July consisting of eight 787-9's and one 787-8. The sole 787-8 handed over to Air Tanzania and owns by Tanzanian Government which has only dreamliner on order. Finally the deliveries of 787-9 type has beaten the deliveries of 787-8 which now stands at 356.It only took 4 years for 787-9 to take lead from 787-8 which has its first delivery on September 2011. 787-9 has proved how successful it was in the airline fleets across the world and redefined the long haul travel economically.

Dreamliner Orders at Farnborough Airshow

     US carrier United airlines has added 4 more 787-9's on firm to its order book. It had delivered its last 787-9 on February this year upon completing its initial order for 25 of the type.

     Air Lease Corporation has ordered three more 787-9 on 2nd day of Farnborough airshow.

     Indian full service carrier Vistara has firmed its order for six 787-9's along side four more on options during the airshow. The Dreamliners will join the carriers fleet in first half of 2020 enabling the carrier to start its long haul operations to Europe and may be to Americas.

     During last day of the show Boeing announced 15 Dreamliners for 2 unidentified airlines. It states 5 Dreamliners for an existing airline operates and 10 Dreamliners for a new operator.
     Hawaiian Airlines firmed up its order for up to 20 Dreamliners during the show. Earlier this year the airline has canceled its existing order A330 Neo and turned towards more economically viable Boeing Dreamliners
